Summary: In this book, we are still following Sarai and Lazlo. I can't summarize the second book because it would give out spoilers. I will shortly summarize the first book. In the first book, Strange is an orphan and a librarian. He is very interesting in a city called Weep because the city keeps losing it's name because of the strange curse it has. Lazlo finally gets a chance to go to the city of Weep and explore for himself.

Review: I really like the first book when it was the opening to this new world that I was reading about. I also loved this book because some of the questions that I had were answered and we get some more of other character's point of view. For example, one of the character's name is Minya, and she is really not a good person in the first book. In Muse of Nightmares, she becomes worse and tries to harm the people of Weep, but we can understand from her point of view why she is the way she is. It was interesting to see other character's point of view because it felt like I finally understand this person's actions and why this person is doing what he or she does.

Moving on to the story itself, I enjoyed the whole book. It got more into the world and the magic system. The author gave more details about the world and the characters. Some of the scenes were kind of inappropriate for ages around 13 to 14 years old. Overall, it was a good book and enjoyable to read.
